Edd (1938-2021) sailed the East Coast as a yachtsman for more than forty years owning five wooden boats over that time, the last one a Blackwater Sloop built in the 1960’s in Maldon Essex.

An exciting exhibition of work by renowned military artist Hugh Beattie coming to the Centre from 7th to 27 July. The exhibition will be of Hugh’s North Essex Collection and unveiling new works in oil. Joining Hugh during his exhibition will be Peter Deans, our local ceramic artist, a member of the Essex Craft Guild and a selected member of Anglian Potters.
